Mont Harmon parent/teacher conferences will be on Monday Sept. 20th. From 4pm-6pm we will have in-person conferences. From 6pm-7pm teachers will be available for virtual conference, emails, or phone calls for those parents who aren’t able to come to the school. School is still in session until 12:42 (normal Monday schedule).

Carbon School District is seeking applications for a part time Sweeper at Mont Harmon Middle School. THIS IS AN EVENING HOUR POSITION. This position will work approximately 29 hours per week. Help with the operation, upkeep and cleaning of the assigned school building and grounds. Keep the building comfortable, safe and clear for all times the building is scheduled for use. Custodial duties include cleaning walls, windows, furniture, floors (carpet & tile), and cleaning restrooms. Stripping and waxing tile floors, refurbishing gym floors periodically. Other custodial duties as assigned by head custodian including minor maintenance on the building and grounds. Must pass a live screen background check. Must be a high school graduate or have equivalent. Parents visiting Mont Harmon Middle School who need wheelchair access will need to park by the gym ( Northeast side). You will need to go in the driveway where the busses go and head North toward the end of the building. There will be handicapped parking spots along the building. When you park you will need to stay in your vehicle and call the phone number on the posted sign. Someone will come and let you in the building and escort you to the office.

Starting immediately there will be NO parking in the upper (west) parking lot. This includes ALL student pick up or drop off. You can park in the lower (east) parking lot, the parking lot by the football field, or at the district office. This will continue until further notice.

Track daily student attendance, verify legitimacy of student excuses, prepare, and communicate necessary attendance reports. Prepare sort and file various student records including those regarding discipline and attendance.. Maintain student demographics, discipline, and emergency information in student information system. Answers the telephone and greets visitors to the counseling office; schedules parent conferences, testing sessions and other meetings; relays information to counselors. Sends for students as requested by counselors and excuses student absences for appointments in the counseling office. Formats and types correspondence, memorandum, forms and reports for counselors. Maintains confidential counseling files; researches files to provide information for counselors as requested. MH is excited to offer a few microwaves for our students to use for lunches. There will be some in commons and in the cafeteria. Please remind your students to clean up after themselves so we can keep them!
