Carbon School District is seeking applications for Guest Teachers. Guest Teachers provide backup teaching services when full-time teachers are unable to work. Guest Teachers execute lesson plans left by the absent teacher or are required to create classroom lessons on their own. Guest Teachers create and maintain a respectful and fair classroom culture that fosters safe and productive learning. Guest Teachers monitor, observe, and report student behavior according to school policies and procedures. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Music Specialist at Creekview Elementary School. Will create and manage basic music program for students K-5.  They will also help students in grades 3-5 to develop typing skills by managing students while they use the typing program.  This is a 10 hour per week position.  Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. This position will work approximately 29 hours per week during daytime hours (approximately lunchtime to after school). Help with the operation, upkeep and cleaning of the assigned school building and grounds. Keep the building comfortable, safe and clear for all times the building is scheduled for use.  Custodial duties include cleaning walls, windows, furniture, floors (carpet & tile), and cleaning restrooms. Stripping and waxing tile floors, refurbishing gym floors periodically. Other custodial duties as assigned by head custodian including minor maintenance on the building and grounds. Carbon School District is seeking applications for a SPED Behavior/Transition Interventionist to work at the District Office. This position is a Special Education position for a Behavior Interventionist who can provide support, monitor, and train using behavior management techniques, intervention strategies, coping skills, and problem solving for students with behavioral challenges. In addition, coordinating transition services for individuals with moderate to severe disabilities by working with school teams to identify and help families access school and community resources and coordinate school to work initiatives district wide. Requirements: Knowledge of special educations procedures and rules, knowledge of behavioral interventions and strategies, ability to coordinate with teachers and students and create a process for developing behavior plans, knowledge of post secondary transition needs and services for individuals with disabilities. Must have a Master's degree in social work or related education field.
