Carbon School District would like to thank the Wellington Fire Department, Wellington Police Department, and the Utah Highway Patrol for their immediate and thorough response to a minor collision involving a school bus this morning. Wellington had 8 responders arrive on the scene. Those responders were split into two teams. One team of two firefighters and EMTs worked on checking the other vehicle involved and the occupants of that vehicle. The second team of two firefighters, an advanced EMT, and a paramedic evaluated the school bus driver and students. A second bus was dispatched to the scene to safely transport the students to school. We greatly appreciate the continued collaboration between first responders and district personnel.
