Carbon School District is seeking applications for a part time Librarian at Sally Mauro Elementary School in Helper, Utah. Must have some knowledge of the workings of a library, be able to work well with students, teachers and other educational staff. Will provide media services for students, teaching staff and building-level administration in a helpful, positive, congenial and flexible manner. Assists students and teachers in the use of library facilities and services in the selection of library materials. Performs circulation duties including checking books in and out, sorting and shelving books, and keeping circulation records. Processes new books and materials, keeps track of where books are located. Maintains shelf list. Contacts students about overdue or damaged materials and collects fines. Processes new materials. Maintain discipline in the library. Other duties as assigned. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. This is a part time position, approximately 29 hours per week.
