
Attention Boys Wrestling participants. Open mats will be held Monday - Thursday from 3:30 - 5:30 pm and will begin Monday, October 16th. The activity bus leaves at 5:20 pm. The coaches are aware of this and will make accommodations accordingly.

Carbon School District is seeking applications for an Intensive Intervention Aide at Helper Middle School in Helper, Utah.
Delivers educational interventions designed by Special Education teachers to help students meet educational, academic, life skills, behavioral, physical, social and emotional goals. Assists teachers with Special Education students to enable learning with minimal disruptions to other students. Will be working directly with Intensive Intervention SPED students. Due to the varied and individual needs of each student, the Special Education Aide may provide a variety of support and assistance, and should be flexible adjusting to student needs. Will work approximately 29 hours per week. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a LiveScan fingerprint background screening. Starting pay is $14.92 per hour. All 7th grade students and their parents/guardians are REQUIRED to participate in a group PCCR meeting. These meetings will be held during Parent Teacher Conferences on October 9th and 10th. Important Information for Homecoming Game: Parents excusing their student to leave school after the parade must contact the office NO LATER than 11:30 AM on September 15, 2023. Students will only be allowed to be picked up by parent/guardian or designee. Students will not be excused to walk. Students not excused will return to HMS to resume the regular school day. Route buses will run as normal.

We have an update for you on the error this morning with the PowerSchool Parent Portal. The problem is within the Document Delivery feature of PowerSchool. They are diligently working on a solution for us and we hope to have an answer very soon.
We will communicate with you once the problem has been resolved. It is our highest priority.
