Carbon School District is seeking applications for Guest Teachers throughout all levels of schools within the District. Guest Teachers provide backup teaching services when full-time teachers are unable to work. Guest Teachers execute lesson plans left by the absent teacher. Guest Teachers create and maintain a respectful and fair classroom culture that fosters safe and productive learning. Guest Teachers monitor, observe, and report student behavior according to school policies and procedures. Must be a high school graduate and be at least age 18. HMS reminder: Game day today (FB - SR @ HMS) (VB - HMS @ CV) both at 3:30 - (CC tomorrow HMS @ CV). Our annual color dance will be held this Friday after school from 3:30 to 5pm. Students will need rides home if they stay they should bring clothes to get messy in. Chalk is $1 per bag.

HMS parents: we are excited to welcome your students back to school tomorrow. There is still construction occurring so some places are off limits please encourage your students to respect those areas. Our bus lane still has equipment in the way so buses will drop off and pick up on the south side of the field for tomorrow only with normal bus service resuming on Thursday. Band and choir will be held in the cafeteria. With the gym still undergoing a remodel our PE classes will be held on the field unless weather is a problem and then they will share classrooms during prep hours. We will have teachers and aides in the hallways to direct students and help them with lockers. Please plan to have students here by 8:10 or earlier if they would like breakfast.

HMS Reminder: Today 8/3 and tomorrow 8/4 is registration from 9am -2pm. Most can be done online including fees unless changes need to be made. The Health Dept. trailer will be here today only 8/3 for any vaccinations that may be needed for school. The building is still under construction and not available for exploration.
Carbon School District is seeking applications for a Lunch Worker. Duties include entering student account numbers into the Aspire system as students come through cafeteria lines, collecting account payments, applying payments to student and staff accounts, notifying parents/guardians of account deficits, and tracking data for monthly reports. Other duties include helping as needed in the kitchen and communicating with school administration, faculty and staff. Food handler permit is required upon hiring. Will work approximately 20 hours per week. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Dr. Jensen's office is offering free physicals tomorrow at his office at 280 Hospital Dr. Suite 3, Price, UT on Wednesday July 21 after 5pm. First come first served. The Assistant Football Coach assists the Head Football Coach in promoting an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Assistant Football Coach assists in providing leadership and supervision for team and individual sports, and works closely with the other staff and administration.
