20 students came together on Thursday, February 15, 2024 to vie for the top spots in the District Spelling Bee. After a thrilling 13 rounds of competition, Asher Thayn (Mont Harmon Middle School) wins the District Spelling Bee by spelling coccidiosis correctly. Cadi Heaton (Mont Harmon Middle School) secured a 2nd place finish and Raychel Riche (Sally Mauro Elementary School) picked up the 3rd place spot. These top three spellers advance to the Region Spelling Bee which will be held in March at Green River High School. We wish them the best of luck!
