Carbon High School

Carbon High School has adjusted the bell schedule for the 2019-2020 school year.  The bell schedule for Tuesday-Friday will change very little outside of the addition of Flex Time in the middle of the day.  Students will have opportunities to request to see teachers at this time, if they need help or if they need to make up work.  Teachers will also be able to request students to come to them to make up work, get help with concepts they may not understand, or make up tests.  Students who aren't requested by a teacher or do not need to request to see a teacher will be allowed to go to lunch early.  Lunch will begin in the cafeteria at the beginning of flex for students who do not leave campus for lunch.  Students who are in flex will go to lunch when flex time is over.  Early out Monday will have more time added to classes.  Mondays will remain early out, but students will be excused at 12:56 PM instead of 12:34 PM.  Teachers will continue to meet in Professional Learning Communities on Monday afternoons as we move through the Carbon Growth Cycle.  We are excited about the opportunities this new schedule will present to our students and teachers and the continued academic success at Carbon High School.
