Toni Behling started her career at East Carbon High in 1998. She started out teaching Earth Science, Health, and a girls PE class. She was laid off, and then hired back as the business teacher. While there, she was the FBLA advisor and cheer coach. She taught a variety of topics including TLC, Economics, Desktop Publishing, Accounting, and Computer Technology. She states that she loved this school and had many good experiences there.
In 2005, when the school closed, she was transferred to Mont Harmon Middle School. She taught Computer Technology, Keyboarding, Word Processing, and after a couple of years TLC, now called CCA. Toni was the FBLA advisor and in her later years, one of the Student Government advisors.
In 2017, she transferred to Carbon High School. she was the FBLA advisor until her husband died in November of 2018. Toni's current classes are Business Office Specialist, General Financial Literacy, and Business Communication I.
In all, Toni has had 27 years of teaching, 19 years as the FBLA advisor, 6 years as a cheer coach, and about 5 years in Student government. She states "...this has been a wonderful career..."
